AP EAMCET Counselling 2026 Document List: Mandatory Documents for All Candidates

Basic Identity and Academic Documents

The following list of documents required for AP EAMCET 2026 Counselling documents are required from every candidate, no exceptions. They confirm your identity, rank, and academic eligibility for AP EAMCET Counselling 2026.

• AP EAMCET 2026 Rank Card is your primary document for counselling. Registration isn’t possible without it.

Study Continuity Documents

Identity and Residence Documents Required for AP EAMCET Counselling 2026

The fundamental documents should be accompanied by proof of identification and domicile as required by APSCHE. They set out your local status, rights, and citizenship, and check your details against state government databases.

• Aadhar Card: 

The government issues the Aadhaar card as the primary identity proof, and it will be required at every step of AP EAMCET counselling. Make sure the name and date of birth on your Aadhaar are exactly the same as on your other documents. If the name is spelled even a little differently, the verification will be delayed.

• Residence Certificate for Private Candidates:

 If you studied independently (not enrolled in any school or college) for any period between Class 6 and Intermediate, you require a Residence Certificate for those 7 years. It is issued by the Tahsildar and is proof of your place of residence during that period.

• Parental Residence Proof for Non-Local Candidates

Non-local candidates, those whose parents live in Andhra Pradesh but who studied in another state, need an AP Residence Certificate of the father or mother showing 10 years of residence, excluding periods of employment outside the state. This must be issued by the Tahsildar of the relevant AP district.

AP EAMCET Required Documents for Reservation and Fee Concession

Candidates claiming category reservation or applying for tuition fee reimbursement need additional documents. These must be issued by state-authorised competent authorities and must be valid for 2026-27.

BC, SC, and ST Category Documents

• SC, ST, and BC candidates need an Integrated Community Certificate, not a basic caste certificate. This is a combined document covering caste, community, and income details. It must be issued by a MeeSeva or Tahsildar office in the candidate’s name.

• General OBC format certificates issued for central government purposes are not valid here. The certificate must follow the state-level AP format.

EWS Certificate for OC Candidates

OC candidates claiming reservation under the Economically Weaker Section category need a valid EWS Certificate from MeeSeva for the year 2026-27 specifically. The family income must be below ₹8 lakh per annum from all sources to qualify. An EWS certificate from a previous year is not accepted.

Income Certificate or White Ration Card

Candidates applying for Tuition Fee Reimbursement (TFR) must produce either the following or

• An Income Certificate of the parents issued by a competent authority, or
• A White Ration Card with both the candidate’s name and at least one parent’s name on it
• Either document is accepted for TFR purposes. Check which one you have ready.

Local Status Certificate for Telangana Migrants

Candidates who migrated from Telangana to Andhra Pradesh between June 2, 2015, and June 1, 2026, are treated as local candidates in AP. They need a Local Status Certificate confirming this migration. Without it, they’re treated as non-local, which directly affects the seats they’re eligible for.

AP EAMCET Counselling Documents Required for Special Quota

In addition to ordinary AP EAMCET counselling documents, candidates under special reservation categories have to produce supplementary certifications. These should be in the format as prescribed by the appropriate authority.

• NCC Quota: Candidates claiming NCC quota seats must have NCC certifications issued by a competent national defence authority. The certificate shall specify the NCC grade obtained and shall be signed by the officer issuing the certificate.
• Sports Quota: Students claiming Sports Reservation must submit Sports Quota Documentation, district-level / state-level / national-level success. # This should be supplied in the format prescribed by the concerned State or national sports authority.
• PH / PwD Reservation: Candidates with a disability have to produce a medical certificate from a government hospital regarding the type and percentage of disability. It should be issued by a civil surgeon or above. The certificate shall indicate that the handicap is permanent;
• Defence Quote: Candidates applying under the defence category need to submit service documents/discharge certificates of the parent who has served, along with proof of the relationship of the candidate with the service member.

What Is the AP EAMCET Counselling Document Verification Process?

APSCHE runs verification in two modes. Which one applies to you becomes clear after you register and pay the counselling fee.

Online Certificate Verification (Auto-Verified)

After registration on eapcet-sche.aptonline.in, candidates will see “Candidate is eligible for exercising options.” This means APSCHE’s system has already matched your documents through backend government databases. You don’t need to visit any centre. You can directly go to the web option entry on the scheduled dates.

Offline Certificate Verification (HLC Visit Required)

If your login shows: “If the student is not eligible or certificate verification is in progress,” you have to visit a Helpline Centre (HLC) in person. Carry all originals and two sets of photocopies. The HLC officer scans, uploads, and verifies everything on the spot. Your account is activated for web options only after its confirmation.

Keep all originals safe, even if you’re auto-verified. APSCHE can call you for physical verification at any stage if a mismatch is found in the data.

 AP EAMCET Certificate Verification: Get Your Documents Ready

Before the AP EAMCET Counselling document verification, one must prepare the preparation of paperwork. Another is to get them in the correct order before you go to HLC. A few easy steps will save a lot of time on the day.

1. Arrange the documents according to the guidelines in the official notification of APSCHE
2. Make two sets of photocopies, snipped separately from originals
3. Write your Hall Ticket Number & Name on top of each set of photocopies
4. Keep originals in a clean, separate folder; never mix with photocopies
