CUET 2026 Result Statistics

This year, a total of 15,68,867 applicants have registered for the examination, of whom 11,64,098 candidates appeared, making CUET UG one of the largest undergraduate entrance examinations in the country.

The number of registered female applicants was 7,74,607, out of whom 5,85,596 appeared for the examination. Against 7,94,257 registered male candidates, 5,78,500 appeared. The NTA said participation had jumped, with total registrations up by more than 15% and female registrations up by almost 20% on the previous year.

CUET Toppers List 2026

NTA has declared the CUET UG 2026 results and the Top Scorers’ performance record. According to the official CUET Toppers List, one candidate secured a perfect 100th percentile score in four subjects. 

Further, 22 candidates scored in the 100th percentile in three subjects, and 180 candidates scored in the 100th percentile in two subjects. A total of 3,214 students got 100% in one subject, demonstrating the high level of competition among candidates.

CUET Counselling 

After the publication of CUET UG 2026 results, candidates have to participate in the counselling and admission process conducted by the respective universities. NTA is only responsible for the conduct of the examination and the dissemination of scorecards.

 It does not operate a centralised counselling process. Candidates have to separately register on the admission portals of their desired universities, enter course preferences, upload documents, and participate in seat allotment rounds depending on their CUET scores.

The universities like University of Delhi, Banaras Hindu University, Jawaharlal Nehru University, and Aligarh Muslim University announce their individual counselling dates, merit list, and cutoff marks. Candidates are advised to routinely check the official admission websites of the colleges they are targeting so that they don’t miss any critical deadlines.
