What after the TS EAMCET seat allotment?

After allotment, candidates must complete online tuition fee payment and online self-reporting between July 22 and July 24, 2026. Both steps are mandatory to confirm admission. Skipping either one results in the Phase 2 seat being cancelled.

Physical reporting to the allotted college is required between July 25 and July 28, 2026. Candidates must carry all original certificates and the Transfer Certificate (TC) for submission at the college. The college then updates joining details in the portal by July 29, 2026.

Candidates who get a Phase 2 allotment but are still not satisfied with the result can participate in the Final Phase (Spot Round) starting July 31, 2026. However, before participating in the spot round, any existing Phase 2 seat must be cancelled by July 28.

TS EAMCET 2026 Phase 2 Counselling: Internal Sliding Explained

Internal sliding is an option available within Phase 2 that allows candidates who already have a seat at a college to apply for a different branch within the same college without losing their current seat.

This is useful for candidates who got their preferred college in Phase 1 but are hoping for a better branch (say, CSE instead of civil engineering) within the same institution. The sliding is handled through the web options process by placing the preferred branch at a higher priority than the current one.

If the system allots the preferred branch through sliding, the original branch seat is released. If it doesn’t, the current branch seat stays intact. There is no risk to the existing seat when using the internal sliding option.

Common Mistakes to Avoid in TS EAMCET 2026 Phase 2 Counselling

These are the errors that candidates make every year during Phase 2. Most of them are preventable.

• Not entering fresh web options: Phase 1 options don’t carry forward. Candidates must fill out new ones during July 18–19.
• Missing the slot booking window: Slot booking for new candidates must be done on July 17. After that, verification isn’t possible for this phase.
• Filling too few web options: Entering only 3–5 options reduces allotment chances significantly. Aim for at least 15–20 options spread across government, aided, and private colleges.
• Skipping self-reporting after allotment: Even if the tuition fee is zero, online self-reporting between July 22 and 24 is mandatory. Skipping it cancels the seat.
• Not attending physical reporting: Online self-reporting and physical college reporting are two separate steps. Both must be completed.
