How to Register For VITEEE  Exam Complete Process

Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) conducts the VIT Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) for admission into its prestigious B.Tech programs. The exam is an online Computer Based Test (CBT) conducted for 2 hours and 30 minutes. There are 125 MCQ type questions. One mark will be awarded for each question, and there are no negative marks for incorrect answers.

Candidates must have 60% marks at the 10+2 level (50% for the reserved category) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology (PCM/PCB) as the main subjects to be eligible for the VITEEE. The application is available online. Candidates need to pay INR 1350 to register for the VITEEE.

VITEEE 2025: Step-by-Step Registration Process

Step 1: Visit the Official Website

• Go to the official VITEEE website: https://viteee.vit.ac.in. Ensure you are visiting the correct website to avoid any fraudulent platforms.

Step 2: Register as a New User

• Click on the “New User Registration” link.
• Enter your name, date of birth, valid email ID, and mobile number.
• Create a password and confirm it.
• Click on “Register” to receive a verification link in your email.

Step 3: Verify Your Email

• Check your registered email for a confirmation link from VIT.
• Click the link to verify your account and proceed with the application.

Step 4: Fill in the Application Form

• Once logged in, complete the VITEEE application form by entering:
  • Personal details (Name, DOB, gender, category, etc.)
  • Parent’s details and Contact details
  • Academic information (Class 10 & 12 marks, school name, board, etc.)
  • Preferred exam center (Choose from the available test centers)

Step 5: Upload Required Documents

• Upload scanned copies of the following documents: Recent passport-size photograph (Size: 10-200 KB, Format: JPG/JPEG), Scanned signature (Size: 10-200 KB, Format: JPG/JPEG.

Step 6: Pay the Application Fee

• The application fee for VITEEE is usually around INR 1350.
• You can pay online via Debit Card/Credit Card, Net Banking, UPI/Wallets
• After successful payment, you will receive a confirmation receipt.

Step 7: Submit the Application Form: 

• Review the details carefully before submitting.
• Click on the “Submit” button to complete the registration process.
• Download and print the application form for future reference.

After successful registration, you can log in to VTop (https://vtop.vit.ac.in) to manage your application and exam details. VTop is VIT’s official student portal where you can:
