Counselling Process for Newton School of Technology (NST)

Admission to Newton School of Technology(NST) is based on the Newton Scholastic Aptitude Test(NSAT). To be considered for the BTech Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) program at NST, candidates must complete a 180-minute online entrance exam. Upon qualifying for the exam, candidates are asked to appear for the interview, which will be conducted online.

Candidates are asked to appear for the counselling process and document verification after appearing for the interview. A personal interview is conducted to test the cognitive abilities and understand their interests, and to know their goals. Based on the entrance test scores and performance in the personal interview candidates are allotted admissions to Newton School of Technology. The counselling process at NST evaluates the students’ academic records, performance in NST, and determines their eligibility for scholarships.

Counselling Process at Newton School of Technology

Upon qualifying for NSAT, candidates have to appear for the personal interview and are asked to block their seats based on their performance in both rounds. After blocking the seats, candidates are asked to appear for the counselling process, which will be conducted both online and offline. Candidates’ academic documents and test scores are evaluated, and upon successful document verification, candidates are allotted admission in their preferred course.
