Why is the admit card important on exam day?

• Entry to the exam centre is strictly prohibited without a valid admit card.
• You must also bring a government-issued photo ID (such as PAN card, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport, Aadhaar card with photograph, E-Aadhar, Ration Card, or Aadhaar enrollment number with photo).
• Carry a passport-size photograph (the same as uploaded with your application form) to be pasted on the attendance sheet at the centre.

Special Guidelines for Diabetic Candidates

To accommodate the health requirements of diabetic candidates, the NTA permits certain exceptions to the general rules regarding food and drink inside the examination hall:

• Permitted Items: Diabetic candidates may carry sugar tablets and whole fruits such as bananas, apples, or oranges. Additionally, they may bring a transparent water bottle to ensure they remain hydrated and can manage their blood sugar levels during the exam.
• Prohibited Items: While diabetic candidates can bring the items listed above, they are not allowed to carry any packed or processed foods, such as chocolates, candies, or sandwiches, into the examination hall.

Code of Conduct at the Exam Centre

1. Maintain Silence: Candidates must remain completely silent throughout the exam. Any conversation, whispering, gestures, or disturbance in the examination hall will be treated as misbehaviour.
2. Follow the Invigilator Instructions: All instructions given by the invigilators or the centre superintendent must be followed without argument. Failure to comply may lead to disciplinary action.
3. No Unfair Means: Any attempt to use unfair means, such as copying, seeking help, using unauthorised materials, or impersonation, is strictly prohibited. If caught, the candidate’s exam will be cancelled and he/she may be debarred from future examinations, either permanently or for a specified period, depending on the severity of the offence.
4. No Impersonation: Impersonating another candidate or allowing someone else to impersonate you is a serious offense and will result in immediate cancellation of candidature and possible legal action.
5. Attendance and Verification: Candidates must fill in all required details in the attendance sheet, provide a clear left thumb impression, and paste their photograph as instructed. Any tampering or misrepresentation will be considered a breach of conduct.
