KCET 2025 Registration Deadline Extended

The KEA(Karnataka Exam Authority) has extended the registration date for the KCET exam till 24th Feb 2025. The KCET Registrations have commenced onĀ  23rd Jan 2025 and now the students can register till 24th Feb 2025 without any late fee. The candidates who are registered can pay the exam fee till 25th Feb 2025. The Exam is going to be conducted on 16th April 2025 for Physics and Chemistry Papers,17th April for Maths Paper, and 15th April for Kannada language.Ā

KCET General  Eligibility Criteria 

  • The Candidate should be an Indian Citizen.
  • The candidate must pass with 50-60% marks from the universities recognized by the government of Karnataka.
  • Candidates who have yet to appear for the 12th Exam can apply for the KCET, but if they don’t pass the 12th Board PUC Exams, they are not eligible for admission even after qualifying for KCET.
  • Candidates seeking admission into Medical, Ayush, and Dental must qualify for NEET to get admission into the desired university.
  • The Candidate’s Mother Tongue should be Kannada, Tulu, and Kodava. Additionally, between the first and last grades, the candidate must have lived in Kannada for at least seven years.
  • Candidates should have passed the SSLC/10th or 2nd PUC/12th standard exam from Karnataka.
  • Candidates above 17 Years old are only eligible to take the KCET Examination.
  • Candidates under a special category can get an exception for 5 to 6 years to write the KCET Exam.

KCET Document Verification Guidelines

  • Candidates who have claimed Clause ā€˜A’ but have not studied in Kannada medium or in the rural, religious, or linguistic reservations will be verified through SATs and they will receive their successfully verified certificate. They don’t need to visit any college for verification.
  • The Candidates who have Claimed Code A and studied in Karnataka for 10 Years and claimed Kannada medium will get a claim certificate these students should visit the principal of PUC/12th std studying college/ nearest government institution to get the claim verified.
  • Candidates under the claims ā€˜B’,’ C’, ’D’, ’T’, ’J’, ’K’,’L’,’ M’, or ā€˜N’ will receive the schedule for claim verification on the Official Website.
  • Candidates under the claims ā€˜E’,’ F’,’ G’,’ H’, and’ O’ need to get their claims verified from the respective colleges
  • If a Candidate has Certificates related to Defence, Ex-Defence,CAPF and Ex-CAPF they need to be submitted separately on the KEA website.

KCET Admit Card 2025: Tentative Date 

The Admit Card for KCET 2025 will be tentatively released on 3rd April 2025. The details required for the candidates to download the admit card are the application number, name of the candidate, and date of birth

The Admit Card Can be Downloaded from the Official website. After downloading the Admit Card cross, check all the details and whether they are correct or not.
