TG EAPCET Eligibility Criteria 2025: Check Educational Qualification, Age limit, Nationality

TG EAPCET 2025 also known as TS EAMCET is a state level entrance examination conducted by JNTUH on behalf of TGCHE for admission to Engineering, Agriculture & Pharmacy programs. You need to qualify TG EAPCET eligibility criteria 2025 to appear for the entrance examination. 

The application process for TS EAMCET will begin on 1st March 2025. Application is in online mode with a registration fee of INR 900 for General candidates and INR 500 for Reserved candidates. The registration deadline for TS EAMCET 2025 is 4^th April 2025. and the exam for the UG Engineering courses will be held from 2^nd May 2025 to 5^th May 2025 in two shifts.

Eligibility Criteria Based on Educational Qualification

Candidates applying for various Engineering courses must have passed 10+2 from the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana with PCM- Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry or PCB- Biology, Physics, Chemistry for Pharma course. The minimum marks required is 45% for the unreserved category and 40% for the reserved category.

Students enrolled from the academic year 2000-2002 onwards must also pass bridge courses administered by the conducting body or any other recognized equivalent examination.

Based on Nationality and Age Limit

TG EAPCET Eligibility Criteria 2025: Nationality

To be eligible for the TS EAMCET 2025 entrance examination, you need to be of Indian Nationality or a Person of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holder.

Domicile

Candidates must be from the state of Telangana and meet the local or non-local status requirements as specified in the Telangana Education Institutions (Regulations of Admission) Order, 1974, and its subsequent amendments.

Local Candidate Definition

Candidates who have resided or attended an educational institute of Telangana for a minimum of four continuous years up to their qualifying exam will be considered local candidates.

TG EAPCET Eligibility Criteria 2025: Age Limit

For Engineering and Pharmacy courses, you need to complete 16 years of age, as of 31st December of the year of admission. However, there is no upper age limit is specified for Engineering.

Moreover, for the DPharma course, the age limit needs to be 17 years as on 31^st December at the year of admission.

The upper age limit for candidates from reserved categories seeking admission in B.Tech programs such as Dairy Technology, Agricultural Engineering, or Food Technology is 25 years.

Application Process of TG EAPCET Eligibility Criteria 2025

You can fill out the TG EAPCET online application form from 25^th February to 4^th April 2025. However, in case you miss the registration deadline, you can submit the form with late fee up to INR 5K till 24^th April 2025.
